Biography

Ursula van de bunte

Passionate, sensitive and an eye for detail, light and color, this is the working method of Ursula van de Bunte. She is a perfectionist, enthusiastic and diligent, she will not be satisfied until the WOW-factor has been reached.

With her artworks she tries to bring out her subjects in the purest way possible. Ursula transforms objects into powerful still lifes. Her work is unconventional and the way of using light therefore also tends towards her great sources of inspiration, such as the paintings of Jaques-Louis David, Rembrandt and Caravaggio.

The series Jelly's reflects the vulnerability and sensuality of a woman's body. The organic shapes reflect the natural beauty. Transparent, pure, but also unfathomable because of the question of what exactly is in the pudding.
